
SERVICES
We don't advertise our services on our vehicles or our person because we believe that we're only there to provide a service to the individual at that time and as many people may feel a stigma associated with having someone to support, we feel this is very important.
We will provide our services regularly, as and when or just as required according to the needs of the individual. You can contact us at short notice and we will endeavour to help, our lines of communication are always available 24/7.

TRANSPORT
We have various vehicles, which can be used according to an individuals need; e.g., a wheelchair vehicle where the person can remain in their chair during transportation to and from their chosen activity, a Picasso, which is slightly higher off the ground and easier for some people to access the front seat and carries a transfer wheelchair which can be used for shopping etc., plus ordinary saloon cars.

SHOPPING
Would you like someone take you shopping in a suitable vehicle, stay with you, assist you to get the items you require, return you home, unpack and leave you comfortable? Maybe have a cup of tea after shopping in the café and a chat and make an excursion of it instead of relying on others to get what you need because you are unable to go out on your own or find transport difficult?

GP, DENTIST, OPTICIAN & HOSPITAL VISITS
Often, families may be busy with work, families etc. and find it difficult getting appointments to fit in with their diaries. We can collect you from home, take you to your appointment and attend with you in the case of medical appointments if you would like us to, we can then talk with after the appointment to ensure you understood what was said and also report back to your family if required (via email). Following the appointment, we will then return you home and settle you back in leaving you comfortable with a cup of tea.

SOCIALISING
Would you like to meet up with friends or attend a social gathering/visit but lack the confidence to attend alone, we can help by going with you until you feel comfortable in your surroundings and no longer need us. We can also accompany you to the theatre/cinema or other activities of your choice where you would maybe prefer not to go alone. You tell us what is your preference and we will make it happen (where possible and safe to do so!)

COFFEE / LUNCH
Many people living in the community remain constantly in their homes for a variety of reasons, mobility, depression and associated illnesses, physical illness or frailty. Sometimes, just getting out with someone for an hour or two can make all the difference to a persons life, seeing what is going on outside of the four walls and meeting other people can have a massive impact on a persons wellbeing. Being taken out for a coffee or a meal and feeling part of the community is what we can offer, where to go is your choice. This can be a regular activity or just as and when, but we work with you to plan where you would like to go depending on your likes and preferences.

CORRESPONDENCE
Do you need help to keep on top of your paperwork, fill out forms or make appointments? Often forms can be difficult to understand and complete – we can help you with that or get you the help you require if it is of a complicated nature by contacting the agency/company on your behalf.

BANK VISITS
We would be available to transport you to and from the bank so you can manage your own affairs. We do not get involved in financial business; we would remain available at a distance within the bank, but would not be involved in your discussions or affairs.

CHECK UP SERVICE
For those people whose families live a distance away or work long hours and maybe just looking for a regular visit to have a cup of tea and chat and check all is well. We will attend at a convenient time, does not always have to be the same time if preferred, sit with the individual, go out for a walk together if required, sit in the garden etc. and will be led by the individual as to what they want to do.

EMERGENCY CALL OUTS
We will come out in an emergency for vulnerable people when no family members are available, e.g., in the case of illness or loneliness. Often, families live away or go away on holiday and worry about their parent/parents, especially if they cannot contact them in the usual way. Once registered with us, families can contact us 24/7 and request a visit to check all is well. We will attend, deal with whatever the situation is and maintain regular contact with the family for peace of mind.
